Twenty-eight year old Brian Whitlock has been charged with second degree murder.
At about 8:30 last night, the body of a woman was found at a home on W.23rd Avenue near Balaclava Street.
Whitlock was arrested by police shortly before 5:00 this morning. The investigation is ongoing and the victim’s identity is not being released at this time.
The accused remains in custody until his first court appearance tomorrow morning.
