Vancouver Police are asking for victims and witnesses to come forward following a series of gropings in downtown Vancouver earlier tonight.
Around 5 p.m., a 9-1-1 caller reported seeing a man on Davie Street, between Granville and Burrard Street, sexually assault a number of women by groping them.
He was described as Aboriginal, in his 30s, 5’6″ tall, and weighing 160 pounds. He had short black hair, brown eyes and had a small scar on his right cheek. He was wearing a black winter coat, light blue jeans, and white running shoes.
A man matching that description was arrested by police a short distance away. Unfortunately, the women who were the victims of the sexual assaults could not be located.
