With the increase of property crime in Strathcona, plainclothes officers were recently working in the area. It was just after midnight when they noticed a man acting suspiciously, peering in several car windows. They watched as he entered the backyard of a residence, and then leave the yard with a bicycle.
The suspect was arrested for theft after a short foot chase. The bike was recovered, soon to be returned to the owner.
