Report Crime Online

If you are reporting theft under $10,000 or damage to your property, and you don’t have a suspect, you may be able to report it online. Learn more about online reporting and what other types of crime qualify.

Protests

The VPD supports people’s democratic rights and freedoms through lawful protest.

We assess 700-800 protests annually to help ensure the safety and security of protestors, the public, and first responders.

Block Watch

Since 1987, Block Watch has brought together Vancouver residents to improve community safety.

It’s all about neighbours helping neighbours, and partnering with police to reduce crime and create safer neighbourhoods.

Missing Persons

There are over 5000 people reported missing every year in Vancouver — and the VPD locates 99% of them.

Take a look at these missing people who have not yet been found.
