Vancouver – Vancouver Police have obtained a new image of Matthew Hutchings, the 20-year-old man reported missing Sunday evening, and are asking anyone with information to call police.
Matthew was last seen leaving the UBC area on the B-Line bus heading eastbound shortly after 2 a.m. on May 24. He has not returned home since.
Today, investigators obtained a photo showing Matthew near the Safeway at Commercial Drive and Broadway at approximately 3 a.m., about one hour after he left UBC. He was wearing a black t-shirt, dark grey jeans, and black sneakers. Matthew has shoulder-length black curly hair and a beard along his jawline.
Anyone who sees Matthew Hutchings, or anyone with information on his whereabouts, is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until first responders arrive. Alternatively, VPD’s Missing Person Unit can be reached via email at vpd.missing@vpd.ca.
