Police have identified the victim of the city’s 13th homicide of 2011 as being 29 year old Axel Curtis of Vancouver.
At about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 6th, Axel Curtis was shot at the intersection of Ash Street and West 7th Avenue. Curtis was previously known to police and is suspected of having links to gangs.
Detectives from the VPD Homicide Unit are continuing to interview the many witnesses and are working to develop an accurate suspect description for public release.
