Hundreds of Vancouver Police officers will be changing the bottom half of their uniforms for one day only on April 25th, in support of Jeans Day™.

Officers will still be wearing their uniform shirts, but staff from throughout the VPD will be wearing jeans after purchasing the special Jeans Day™ buttons for $5 each.

The popular fundraiser has over a quarter million participants, from pre-schoolers to corporate executives, across British Columbia and helps support the most urgent needs of B.C. Children’s Hospital.

“We are proud to be able to support the extraordinary efforts of B.C. Children’s Hospital,” says Vancouver Police spokesperson Constable Brian Montague. “Officers will be going beyond the call in their jeans and supporting a great cause at the same time.”
