Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man wanted Canada-wide for being unlawfully at large.
Gerald Richard McLean is a high risk sex offender serving a long term supervision order after completing a two-year sentence for the sexual assault of a young child. He also has a past conviction for sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
A warrant has been issued for McLean’s arrest after failing to return to his halfway house as required. He is considered a high risk to re-offend sexually.
McLean is 44 years old, white, 5’7″ tall, 175 lbs., with long blonde hair often worn in a ponytail. He has green eyes, a tattoo of an eagle on his upper left arm, a skull on his shoulder and a tribal band on his upper right arm. He was last seen wearing a black bomber style jacket, grey hoody and blue jeans.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Gerald McLean or sees him is asked not to approach him and call 9-1-1 immediately.
