Police are investigating a serious collision after a cyclist was hit by a vehicle at Clark Drive and Adanac Street.
Around 6:30 p.m., a 60-year-old cyclist was riding through the intersection of Adanac Street and Clark Drive when he was hit by a small SUV.
The cyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by paramedics for treatment.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.
The VPD Collision Investigation Unit is on scene and drivers can expect traffic delays as police conduct their investigation.
The cause of the collision has yet to be determined.
