Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a 37-year-old man wanted Canada-wide for being unlawfully at large.
Marcel Joseph Parent is a two-time federal offender who served time for sexual assault with a weapon, armed robbery, forcible confinement, uttering threats to cause death or harm, and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
On January 18th, Marcel Parent failed to return to a Vancouver halfway house for his curfew, a breach of his release conditions.
Police believe that Parent may be in the Nanaimo area on Vancouver Island.
Parent is white, 6′ tall, 190 lbs., has short brown hair, brown eyes and goatee. He has a tattoo of a scorpion on his neck , a spider web on his right forearm, an eagle and wolf on his left forearm, and Aboriginal art on his right upper arm.
