Investigators are looking for witnesses to a weekend stabbing in the Granville Entertainment District that sent one man to hospital.
Shortly after 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 15th, officers attended a fight call at the corner of Granville and Davie Street. Police found a 26-year-old man who had been stabbed, as others involved scattered and fled the area. The victim was taken to hospital and continues to recover from his injuries.
Police arrested a 27-year-old Langley woman and a 29-year-old Surrey man nearby in connection with the incident. Charges have been recommended against the man, but both have been released pending further investigation.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the altercation to contact police. Specifically, there were two limousine drivers who may have witnessed the incident.
