Police are looking for a high-risk sexual offender who is wanted Canada-wide.
Forty-four-year-old Stanley Lee Porter is a two-time federal offender who is currently serving a long-term supervision order following a conviction for sexual assault. He has an extensive criminal history dating back more than two decades, including convictions for sexual assault and sexual interference. A warrant of arrest has now been issued after he failed to return to his halfway house last night.
Porter has no direct ties to Vancouver and may travel outside of the Lower Mainland. He is Aboriginal, 5’3″ tall, 180 pounds, and was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded jacket and blue jeans.
Anyone who sees Stanley Porter, or has information regarding his whereabouts, is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
