A man wanted after being recently convicted in a 2014 home invasion style robbery in Vancouver’s West End is back in custody.

Last week, on May 10th, 38-year-old Jay Tyler Brown was convicted of break-and-enter and two counts each of robbery and forcible confinement in relation to the crime that took place two years earlier. The judge released Brown from custody and ordered that he turn himself in to the sheriffs on May 13th. He never showed and a warrant for his arrest was issued.

This morning, the VPD asked the public for help in finding the wanted man.

Brown turned himself in and surrendered to police this evening without incident.
