A man in his 20s has been stabbed just before 9 p.m. on Commercial Drive near Venables, He has been taken to hospital with what is believed to be serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
A citizen in the area was able to detain the suspect until police arrived. The suspect has been arrested and remains in custody.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information to share at this time.
