Update: May 27, 2025
Vancouver – Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 20-year-old man who was last seen near UBC yesterday.
Matthew Hutchings left the UBC area on the B-Line bus heading eastbound on May 24 just after 2 a.m. He was supposed to return home, but never did. Later that morning, just after 6 a.m., investigators believe he may have been near Commercial and Broadway.
Matthew is Indigenous, 5’10”, and 140 pounds, with a slim build. He has black curly hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees Matthew Hutchings is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until first responders arrive.
