Vancouver – Vancouver Police are investigating the death of an eight-year-old girl, who fell from a high-rise balcony in Yaletown Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to a residential building near Nelson Street and Expo Boulevard just after 2:30 p.m. on November 11, after the child fell from an upper balcony. First responders provided emergency medical care, however, the child succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives from the VPD’s Major Crime Section are investigating the circumstances surrounding the child’s death. Anyone with information is asked to call 604-717-2500.
