Vancouver – A suspect has been charged with one count of assault after allegedly spitting on a stranger in downtown Vancouver early Monday morning.
Police believe the incident was unprovoked.
Vancouver Police responded at 12:16 a.m. on December 29, at Seymour and Robson Street after a woman reported that a stranger approached and spat in her face while she was out for a walk with her dog.
The victim, a woman in her sixties, called 9-1-1, allowing police to locate a suspect and take him into custody nearby.
Jorden David Davies, 41, has been charged with one count of assault and has been released on bail by the courts.
