Vancouver – Vancouver Police are investigating the city’s first homicide of 2026, after a man was stabbed near East 10th Avenue and Commercial Drive on Tuesday evening.
Vancouver Police responded at 8:40 p.m. on January 20 for reports that a man had been stabbed. The victim was transported to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has been identified as 48-year-old Christopher Jumal Sanderson.
No arrests have been made.
