Vancouver – An alleged car-jacker was arrested by Vancouver Police this morning after forcing a driver from his car, crashing into another vehicle, and flipping the stolen car on its roof.
Vancouver Police responded around 5:30 a.m. today, after reports that a Good Samaritan stopped to help a person who appeared to be in distress near Granville Street and West 37th Avenue. The car-owner agreed to drive the stranger to the police station.
Once in the car, the suspect allegedly pulled a weapon on the driver, forced him from the vehicle, and drove away. The suspect eventually collided with another vehicle before flipping the stolen car on its roof and coming to a stop near Granville Street and Broadway.
