Vancouver Police are investigating a collision that occurred Wednesday evening that has claimed the life of a 23-year-old Vancouver woman.

A standoff in downtown Vancouver has ended with the arrest of a 34-year-old Vancouver man. Traffic in the area has been returned to normal.

At around 4 a.m. this morning, the VPD were called to disturbance at an apartment building on Hornby Street near Drake Street. A man fled from the officers as they arrived on scene, allegedly leaving a firearm behind.
