guitarThe Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to find a rare electric guitar that was stolen during a day time break-and-enter.

On December 19th, an unknown suspect broke into a home in the 2200 West 14th Avenue and made off with a rare Epiphone Electric Guitar that was won as a door prize at the 2009 Juno Awards celebrating achievements in Canadian Music.

During the Vancouver awards show, hosted by Canadian comedian Russell Peters, Loverboy was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, and Sarah McLachlan received the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award.

This rare guitar has sentimental value to the owner and she would very much appreciate the return of this priceless memento.

Anyone who has information about this break-in, or who knows the whereabouts of this guitar, is asked to call their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
