Investigators with the Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for robbery.
At about 10:45 p.m. on June 1st, two men entered The Green Room marijuana store located at 1057 Seymour Street. The two are alleged to have produced weapons and robbed the illegal store before fleeing on foot.
Evidence obtained by police identified the two suspects who are believed responsible for the armed robbery. One of those individuals was arrested without incident three days later on Thursday, June 4th. The other has not been located.
Thirty-two-year-old Eric Joseph Chartrand is now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for robbery and disguise with intent to commit a criminal offence.
Chartrand has a lengthy criminal record and should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts is asked not to approach him and call 9-1-1 immediately.
