Vancouver Police are at the scene of another suspected overdose resulting in the death of a man in his 50s.
Earlier today, the VPD released details of 17 non-fatal overdoses between December 19th and 22nd and three fatal overdoses occurring last night and early this morning.
The discovery of this forth body is not suspicious and believed associated to the recent rash of overdoses.
The investigation into the death will be turned over to the BC Coroners service to determine the exact cause.
All drug users are encouraged to never inject, snort, or swallow drugs alone, and to call 9-1-1 immediately if overdose symptoms start.
