Vancouver Police are investigating a fatal collision after a pedestrian was hit by a car on the east side of Vancouver.
Around 9:30 p.m., a woman was crossing East 41st Avenue near Kerr Street when she was stuck by an eastbound vehicle. She died at the scene.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. The cause of the collision has yet to be determined.
The Vancouver Police Collision Investigation Unit has been called to the scene and is expected to be there throughout the night. East 41st Avenue remains closed between Rupert Street and Kingsway Avenue.
