Following Saturday afternoon’s anti-mask protest, one of the participants was waiting in line for a bus near the Burrard Station. He continued his protest, and yelling obscenities, while not wearing a mask or physically distancing.

Another man in line told the protestor he was a disgrace for not wearing a mask. In response, the protestor allegedly pulled out dog repellent and threatened him.

VPD officers responded to the 9-1-1 call and arrested the protestor for uttering threats. He was also issued two tickets under the Covid-19 Related Measures Act. The dog repellent was seized as evidence.
